Chat with a Librarian ONLINE! - August 13th, 2007 - Written By: Windsor Public Library
"Chat with a Librarian" is a service that lets you speak with a librarian directly in "real time" via your computer. You can use it to get help on any library related question. There is nothing that you have to download. If this image appears and you click on it, a new window will open that will allow you to chat with a librarian. The service, funded by the Windsor Public Library under the information literacy umbrella is about connecting customers with an information need through a medium they know and use already - chat. Although this will be available to all members of our community, the Windsor Public Library (WPL) has recognized that students would have the most to gain from such an initiative. The “chat” link is available from our homepage at www.windsorpubliclibrary.com . Once a patron clicks on the link, a librarian will introduce themselves and ask how they can help.
