Windsor’s first gaming centre has officially opened. The Windsor Gaming Center is the newest youth centre to open as a large indoor community gaming arena. The WGC hosts weekly gaming events ranging in all types of games, from console to PC. WGC welcomes all gamers, including FPS, RTS, RPG, MMORPG, TBS, Simulation and others! WGC offers a wide variety of consoles as well as gaming PC's. Their goal is to build a strong gaming community where people from all walks of life can feel at home and share their love for gaming!
The Gaming Centre is located at 472 Tecumseh Rd E Windsor, Ont at the major intersection of Howard and Tecumseh (next to Tim Horton’s)
Gaming Systems include:
Consoles: Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Playstation 1, Xbox 360, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Original Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast and Various Atari Systems
Gaming PCs: AMD 3800+, 2GB RAM, 8800GT
The WGC official opened on June 1st and it operates 7 days a week from 9am till 2am. WGC is owned and operated by Colin McMahon. A number of community volunteers comprise the staff of WGC to help make the gaming experience as excellent as possible, they include: fuzzhead, Billy McMahon, Tyler McMahon and Mike McMahon.
